Hello, fellow travel lovers!
This time, let me introduce **Yuppo no Sato** in Nasushiobara! Known as Japan's largest footbath facility, it boasts a relaxing 60-meter-long footbath corridor. Surrounded by nature, this spot offers a perfect way to refresh yourself from the feet up!
Tips for Entering the Facility
First, pay the admission fee of 250 yen and get ready for the footbath experience!
By showing my JAF membership card at the entrance, I received an exclusive original tin magnet! (JAF members, don’t forget to present your card!)
Ouch, but oh so good! The Footbath Corridor Experience!
The footbath corridor is divided into two sections: **lukewarm water on the right** and **hot water on the left**. I started with the lukewarm side... but as soon as I began walking, I couldn’t help but exclaim, “Ouch!” That’s right, I had entered the **foot reflexology zone**!
Here and there, you’ll find explanations about the reflexology points. It’s fun to walk along while saying things like, “Ah, so this one’s for my stomach!”
As for the hot water on the left side—it's really hot! Your feet might turn a little red from the heat, but once you soak them properly, you’ll feel an incredible sense of "It's working!" Now that's the power of onsen!
Startled by the Geyser! With Nature’s BGM
From time to time, I was startled by a loud “Whoooosh” sound. Turns out, it was the sound of a **geyser**! Enjoying these natural sounds while soaking in the footbath adds an extra layer of relaxation.
A Mysterious White Horse Outside the Window!?
While relaxing in the footbath, I glanced out the window and—what’s this? A **mysterious white horse**! This symbolic statue exudes an indescribable presence. Yuppo no Sato sure knows how to keep things interesting (haha)!
You Can Even Drink the Onsen Water! A Healthy Beverage Experience
What surprised me even more was that you can **drink the hot spring water directly from the source**! When told it’s “good for your health,” I just had to give it a try. Honestly, though... it’s pretty salty (haha). Still, I managed to gulp down two cups, convincing myself, “This will give me all the energy I need for tomorrow!”
