Hello, fellow travel lovers!
Today, I’ll quickly introduce a backup plan model course that I followed when my hike got canceled due to the rain.
Sunny days are great, but I’ve discovered a new way to enjoy rainy days too!
Starting Point: Hachioji Taki-yama Roadside Station
First, I headed to Hachioji Taki-yama Roadside Station.
I picked up some fresh vegetables and fruits, and had freshly baked bread for breakfast!
I relaxed in the eat-in space and kicked off my day by enjoying some delicious food, rain or shine.
Next up… the Arctic and Antarctic Science Museum.
I headed to the unique spot, the Arctic and Antarctic Science Museum!
I touched Antarctic ice and experienced the polar world at the Aurora Theater.
While dreaming of one day seeing the real thing, I fully enjoyed the feeling of adventure.
When I got hungry, I headed to Mammy Mart!
Next, I stopped by Mammy Mart, a supermarket where you can buy award-winning deli items from the 'Deli Grand Prix.
I bought a ton of items like menchi katsu, sushi, and nanban-zuke!
A party at home was guaranteed after that!
Relaxation Time: Ryusenji no Yu
When I want to refresh, I head to Ryusenji no Yu.
I relaxed in the carbonated bath and then did a quick detox in the Bazooka Sauna.
No problem at all, even in the rain! I worked up a sweat in the sauna, leaving both my body and mind feeling refreshed.
The grand finale was a deli party at home!
We laid out all the deli food and had a party at home!
The hike may have been canceled, but it turned out to be a day full of delicious food and relaxation.
Who knew there could be such a fun plan for a rainy day!
The journey continues... Wishing you all a wonderful trip! – TabiJun
