Hello, fellow travel lovers!
Today, I’m sharing a delicious adventure from my trip to Tore Tore Ichiba in Nanki Shirahama.
Arrived at Nanki Shirahama Airport!
After a 1 hour and 15-minute flight from Haneda, I arrived at Nanki Shirahama Airport
I couldn’t contain my excitement even on the plane!
Thanks to the pre-check-in, I smoothly picked up my rental car after arriving.
The lively 'Tore Tore Ondo' had my excitement at its peak!
I headed straight to Tore Tore Ichiba! It only took about 10 minutes from the airport.
As I entered the store, the lively 'Tore Tore Ondo' was playing, and my excitement naturally started to rise!
My mood quickly shifted into 'overeat and overspend mode.'
Even though I was telling myself, 'No, I shouldn’t,' I still devoured my second breakfast of the day.
But come on, there’s so much delicious food right in front of me!
You just get swept up in the market atmosphere and end up eating too much, right? (lol)
Souvenir Shopping? Decision Made: Tore Tore Ichiba on the Way Back!
After a 3-day, 2-night trip, I couldn’t resist stopping by again on the way back.
I enjoyed some Kumano beef rump with wasabi soy sauce! Delicious!
I found a Kumano beef set for 4,500 yen in the store and grabbed it without hesitation! It was just as delicious at home!
These takoyaki have a whole octopus inside! You can choose between soy sauce or regular sauce. Be careful though, they’re piping hot, so if you dive in too quickly, you might burn yourself!
Here’s the Nakatsu fried chicken. It has a sweet flavor with a garlic and soy sauce base
I’d love to say, ‘As expected from the award-winning fried chicken!’... but unfortunately, it was a bit cold, so it didn’t quite hit the mark (harsh review!)
The souvenir section was well-stocked, with a wide variety of sweets!
I ended up buying around 10 different kinds without even realizing it.
I was so absorbed in picking them out that I completely forgot to take any photos, but they were all pretty tasty!
Tore Tore Ichiba is a foodie’s paradise, so make sure to check it out! The key is to go with an empty stomach♪
The journey continues... Wishing you all a wonderful trip! – TabiJun
