Hello, fellow travel lovers!
This time, I visited Sato no MUJI Minnami no Sato in Kamogawa City, Chiba!
"Huh? There's a MUJI here?" Curious, I decided to stop by.
What started as a casual curiosity turned out to be a place filled with more than just MUJI!
Sato no MUJI Area
As I stepped inside, familiar MUJI products lined the shelves.
"Hmm? Are there any special products here?" I looked around, but at first glance, it seemed like an ordinary MUJI store.
But later, I found out that this store also carries the "Shokoku Ryohin" series, featuring products born from the local climate and culture!
I completely missed it. In hindsight, I really should have checked it out… a bit of a regret!
Minnami no Sato Area
With a roadside station-like atmosphere, it offers a wide selection of fresh vegetables, flowers, and local specialties!
There’s also a restaurant and a multipurpose space, making it more than just a shopping spot—it's a place to relax and unwind.
In the end, I couldn’t resist and took home fresh strawberries (they were from Tochigi, but looked too good to pass up), nanohana rice, sansai rice, and some dango.
At ”Cafe Meal MUJI” inside the store, you can enjoy light meals and sweets made with locally sourced ingredients.
I was all set to try something, thinking, "Might as well eat while I’m here!" But after a hearty breakfast, there was absolutely no room left...
Gazing longingly at the delicious-looking menu, I vowed, "Next time, for sure…!" (lol).
Summary & Impressions
What I thought would be just another MUJI store turned out to be a unique spot offering much more.
It’s a spot I’d recommend to both MUJI fans and those who love exploring roadside stations!
Next time, I definitely want to take a closer look at the "Shokoku Ryohin" series!
Surrounded by tranquil scenery, Sato no MUJI Minnami no Sato was the perfect place for a relaxing detour!
