Jufukuji Main Gate

Kanagawa

The main gate of Jufuku-ji Temple is an important structure that symbolizes the history and culture of Kamakura.

Passing through the main gate, a long approach with a serene and tranquil atmosphere stretches ahead.

While searching for Jufuku-ji Temple, I found that the main buildings of the temple appear to be closed. Only the main gate, the approach, and the cemetery on the hillside behind the temple seem to be open to the public.

Several people were searching for Jufuku-ji Temple, surprised to find only the gate open. Despite this, the gate is a valuable structure and a must-visit spot in Kamakura.

Summary

Due to my lack of research, I aimed for Jufuku-ji Temple but felt a sense of incompletion when I couldn't reach it. However, the nature-rich approach had a calm atmosphere that allowed me to feel its history.
