Visiting Shinagawa Shrine’s Twin Dragon Torii in the Year of the Dragon

Tokyo

Hello, fellow travel lovers!

This time, I’ll share my experience of visiting Shinagawa Shrine after paying respects at Ebara Shrine!

Since it’s the Year of the Dragon, I visited this spot because it has a special connection.

Twin Dragon Torii and Dragon’s Sacred Water

The most impressive part of Shinagawa Shrine was the Twin Dragon Torii. The two dragons carved into the torii are incredibly powerful, and you can feel their energy even before you begin praying!

Further inside, there’s a spot called 'Dragon’s Sacred Water,' where it’s said that if you wash your money there and then use it locally, it will bring you good fortune.

Of course, I washed my money too! I’m excited to see what good things will happen♪

Strolling and snacking in the shopping street

After the visit, I stopped by a nearby shopping street to use the money I had just washed, and grabbed some freshly baked bread and handmade rice crackers!

Both were simple yet delicious, and I ended up eating them all before I could even take a picture (haha)!

Street food like this is definitely one of the joys of traveling, right?

The journey continues... Wishing you all a wonderful trip! – TabiJun
