Tenjinzaki - Like the Uyuni Salt Flats?

Wakayama

It's a scenic spot known as Japan's Uyuni Salt Flats.

However, there are certain conditions required for it to become a scenic spot...

When the tide level is around 150 to 140 centimeters, the water collected in the rocky reefs reflects beautifully, creating a scenery similar to the Uyuni Salt Flats.

On rainy days or windy days, the water surface doesn't reflect cleanly due to ripples.

On this day, it was drizzling, nearing low tide, and windy, which were not ideal conditions. 😢

When the conditions are right, you can capture such wonderful photos like this one. (Borrowed from the Tenjinzaki Gallery of the Tourism Association)

Duration of stay here: 20 minutes (for photography only)
