Hello, fellow travel lovers!
Today, I’m introducing an easy day trip plan to Mount Mitake, perfect for a quick getaway in Tokyo!
This is the perfect plan where you can get active with a hike and then relax in the onsen afterward.
An early morning start to kick off the hike!
First, wake up at 5:30 AM! (This is crucial!) To catch the 7:30 AM first cable car at Mount Mitake, you need to get up bright and early with a bit of determination.
- Takimoto Station first departure (7:30 AM)
- Arrival at Mitakesan Station
- Jindai Keyaki
- Visit and worship at Musashi Mitake Shrine
- Nagao-daira Park
- Tengu Rock
- Rock Garden
- Ayahiro Waterfall
- Tengu no Koshikake Sugi" (Tengu’s Resting Cedar)
- Lunch on the Shrine Path
- Cable Car vs Running Downhill!
This is a leisurely 4.5-hour course, including breakfast and lunch breaks.
Optional: Seiryu Garden Sawanoi – If you have extra time and energy, this is highly recommended!
Blow away your fatigue at Tsurutsuru Onsen!
After the hike, rejuvenate and feel young again in the 'Eternal Youth' waters!
Summary: 120% Satisfaction on a Mount Mitake Day Trip!
With this plan, you get a good workout through hiking and then fully relax in the onsen. Even though it's a day trip from Tokyo, you can still have such a fulfilling experience.
Be sure to try out this plan next weekend to refresh both your mind and body!
