The beautiful landscape was mesmerizing, and to my delight, I even spotted a turtle in the garden pond! It reminded me of my two pet turtles back home, adding a touch of personal connection to the experience. If you’re visiting Katsushika Shibamata, Yamamoto-tei is an absolute must-see spot for a serene and delightful time.

Started the morning with dango at Kameya Honpo, experienced the unique shuro tawashi (palm scrubbing brush) at Shibamata Tamaya, and explored a retro candy shop reminiscent of the Showa era. A must-visit walking course for dango and senbei lovers!
