Today, I’d like to introduce you to 'Ganso Karaage Honpo Daruma Ichikawa Kokubundai Store,' where I stopped by on my way back from the bath!
Every time I see signs like 'Gold Award Winner' or 'The Original' at karaage shops, I always wonder who decides these things, but I still end up buying them every time anyway (haha).
This is a takeout-only shop. They fry it up fresh after you order, so my stomach was growling the whole time I waited. There’s just something so irresistible about freshly fried karaage, isn’t there?
Right away, I grabbed one freshly made piece in the car—time to dig in!
The outside is crispy, and the inside is juicy. Every time I take a bite of the piping hot karaage, I just can’t stop!
Even though I said it was for takeout, I ended up eating most of it right then and there. Freshly fried is just the best!
I planned to save some for later, but before I knew it, I had almost eaten it all... There was barely anything left to take home (lol). But that just shows how delicious it was!
