A Flower-Filled Day in Chiba: Roses, Lavender & More!

Model Plan

Hello, fellow travel lovers!

This time, I'm sharing the ultimate day trip in Chiba—packed with flowers, local gourmet treats, and a relaxing hot spring to top it all off!
One moment you're surrounded by the sweet scent of flowers, the next you're struggling to carry a giant watermelon—just another day on this wild little adventure!

【1】Start your day with fresh-baked bread at Sunbretta, the stone oven bakery

🕒 Around 9:00 AM
📍459-26 Owada-Shinden, Yachiyo City, Chiba

Every good trip starts with a delicious breakfast!
At Sunbretta, a paradise for bread lovers, rows of stone oven-baked goodies await!

Enjoy your fresh-baked bread with free coffee in the cozy eat-in space—perfect way to start the morning!

【2】A Blooming Wonderland! Relax at Keisei Rose Garden 🌹

🕒 Around 10:00 AM (just a short walk from Sunbretta)
📍755 Owada-Shinden, Yachiyo City, Chiba

Roses in full bloom as far as the eye can see! The spacious garden is perfect for a relaxing stroll.

🌼 Must-try: The rose-flavored soft serve at the garden café is a must!

Spring in Full Bloom at Keisei Rose Garden! Bread, Blossoms & Bargains🌹
In spring 2025, I enjoyed the full bloom of roses at Keisei Rose Garden! This post covers everything—from a popular bakery breakfast to senior discounts, advance ticket info, and even the actual pamphlet I received. A complete guide to highlights, food, and souvenirs!

【3】Surprise Finds at Michi-no-Eki Yachiyo: Char Siu Ramen & a 4L Watermelon 🍜

🕒 Arrived around 12:30 PM (12-minute drive from Keisei Rose Garden / approx. 5.3 km)
📍4905-1 Yonemoto, Yachiyo City, Chiba

Next, we stopped by Michi-no-Eki Yachiyo.
We stumbled upon a bowl of ramen topped with thick, juicy slices of char siu!

Is this... a steak disguised as ramen?

🍉 And then—making a grand entrance—a 9kg+ 4L watermelon from Yachimata!

I couldn’t resist buying it, but slicing it at home was a real challenge—way too big to cut in half properly! (lol)

My arms were shaking the whole way back—unexpected strength training bonus!

【4】Wrapped in a Purple Carpet at Sakura Lavender Land?

🕒 Around 2:00 PM (17-minute drive from Michi-no-Eki Yachiyo / approx. 7.4 km)
📍233 Senzaki, Sakura City, Chiba

Exploring Sakura Lavenderland! No blooms yet… but still worth the visit!?
Visited Sakura Lavender Land in Chiba in late May. Though the lavender had just started to bloom and the sky was cloudy, the scenery was still breathtaking. Sharing the real charm I felt—don’t miss the rose garden and local ginger ale, too!

♨️【5】Last Stop: Full-Body Refresh at Sakura Natural Onsen Sumire!

🕒 Around 3:00 PM (17-minute drive from Michi-no-Eki Yachiyo / approx. 7.4 km)
📍233 Senzaki, Sakura City, Chiba

No better way to wrap up the day than with a soak in a hot spring!
The sodium-chloride-rich hot spring keeps you warm to the core and helps prevent chills after bathing.

Sakura Natural Hot Spring Sumire – Perfect Way to End the Day!
Ending the trip with a hot spring, of course! At Sakura’s natural onsen “Sumire,” I enjoyed both the open-air and indoor baths. Sharing details on the benefits of the chloride-rich spring, how crowded it was, and the ever-popular mist sauna! I may have soaked a little too long... and ended up rushing to get ready!
