Shiobara Monogatari-kan is a cultural facility located in the Shiobara Onsen area.
Stopped by in search of delicious local vegetables.
I purchased fresh carrots with their leaves still attached and some rice.
I was told that carrot leaves are great for tempura.
It looks like I have enough to make tempura for about 100 people...
The rest could be used for ikebana... the green color is so beautiful. I see.
They were also selling soup-filled yakisoba at the souvenir shop, so I bought some there.
Since I had already eaten at Kamahiko, I chose Kobaya Shokudo this time, which is equally famous.
There is also a photo stand for commemorative pictures.
You can also enjoy the footbath for free.
The footbath is divided into a lukewarm section and a hot section.
Crossing the bridge leads to a walking trail.
The umbrella display is quite stylish.
Along the walking trail, I discovered a bath! However, it seems unused, as it is covered with leaves and mud.
I'm curious about the cautionary sign that seems to hint something must have happened. 'Inhumane'... what could that mean?
A sign I found at the end of the walking trail.
Here’s the beautifully crafted website with stunning photos!
