Hello, fellow travel lovers!
This time, it's a report from Ryusenji no Yu Hachioji Minamino.
Actually, I had planned to go hiking that day, but with the rain forecast, I had to postpone it. But instead of being discouraged, I enjoyed a great time with a 'backup plan'!
Refresh and Revitalize with Balance!

First of all, Ryusenji no Yu is known for its many carbonated hot springs! The lukewarm carbonated bath was perfect for a slow and relaxing soak. The feeling of your body gradually loosening up is simply amazing.

And then, the sauna! Just the name 'Bazooka Sauna' sounds intense, doesn’t it? (haha)
As the name suggests, it’s insanely hot! When the heat wave from the auto löyly hits, I had to give up in no time. It was definitely an 'I’m out' moment.

On the other hand, the salt sauna is mild and much more comfortable. There’s even a face pack available at the entrance, so you can enjoy a bit of a spa-like experience.
I even challenged myself with the cold baths! There’s the standard cold bath at 16.5°C, and then, for the brave, the ultra-cold bath at a chilling 8.5°C.
I tried the ultra-cold bath, and at first, it felt almost lukewarm after being in the regular cold bath. But... within seconds, my thighs started tingling with pain, and I retreated immediately (haha). I’m still far from mastering the cold bath!
Refresh yourself in the bath on a rainy day!
This time, I only used the baths, but they also have a stone sauna, massage services, and a large relaxation area, making it a spot where you can enjoy yourself all day. It's the perfect place to relax and have fun with friends or family.
Next time, I’m thinking of trying out the stone sauna too, but for now, that’s it for this relaxing day!
Why not try a refreshing backup plan like this on a rainy day, too?
The journey continues... Wishing you all a wonderful trip! – TabiJun **TabiJun**
