Hello, fellow travel lovers！
After buying some cherries at JA Sagae Nishimurayama, we stopped by Mogamigawa Furusato General Park before heading home.
Located just a short distance from the Sagae Smart Interchange, this spacious park is surrounded by beautiful nature and filled with colorful flowers.
A Panoramic View from the Observation Deck
From the observation deck, you can enjoy a sweeping view of the lush green park and the surrounding scenery.
There is also a full-scale skate park within the grounds.
No one was using it when we visited, but the spacious practice area looked well designed and fully equipped.
The entire park feels wonderfully open, and every direction offers a picture-perfect view.
After leaving the observation deck, we walked down to the banks of the Mogami River.
We took a relaxing break while watching the river flow nearby. Simply gazing at the water made us feel calm and unhurried.
A Beautifully Maintained Rose Garden
The rose garden was filled with colorful roses in bloom.
Everything was beautifully maintained, and simply walking among the flowers lifted my spirits.
Surrounded by flowers and greenery, the park offers beautiful photo opportunities wherever you look.
We Found Cherim and Cherinbo!
We also discovered a decorative wooden box featuring Cherim and Cherinbo, Sagae’s adorable cherry-themed characters.
It was a cute design perfectly suited to a city famous for its cherries.
A Giant Slide Popular with Children
On the grassy hill, there is a giant slide that is especially popular with children.
Sliding down takes only a few seconds, but to ride it again, they have to run all the way back up the grassy slope.
Even so, the children kept racing energetically to the top again and again.
Their endless energy was truly impressive!
A Refreshing Walk Before Heading Home
It was only a short stop after buying cherries, but we enjoyed a refreshing walk while taking in the beautiful flowers and open scenery.
Because the park is located very close to the Sagae Smart Interchange, it is also a perfect place to take a break during a road trip.
Feeling refreshed after our walk, we got back in the car and continued our journey home.
