Relaxing in the Silky Waters: Nanasawa Onsen, Nanasawasou

Spa

Nanasawasou at Nanasawa Onsen, which just reopened after renovations in August 2023.

After visiting Afuri Shrine and Hinata Yakushi, I stopped by seeking relaxation.

Nanasawa Onsen combines its historical charm with new attractions following the recent renovation.

Relax and Unwind in the Silky, Healing Waters

First and foremost, the water here is unbelievably "silky smooth!" It gently caresses your skin, and from the moment you step in, your body switches to relaxation mode.

Even the water from the shower flows with a silky texture. It has an amazing treatment effect.

After the renovation, the hot spring facilities have been completely revamped, offering a clean and modern space.

From the open-air bath, you can feel the lush greenery and enjoy the gentle breeze, creating a moment where you truly become one with nature.

The History and Present of Nanasawa Onsen

Nanasawa Onsen is a historic hot spring area that has long been cherished as a healing retreat.

Even after the renovation, its traditional charm remains unchanged, while evolving into an even more comfortable space.

It's a wonderful place where the traditional atmosphere blends seamlessly with modern comfort.

The Perfect Ending to Nanasawa Onsen: A Jackpot Yakitori!

On this day, the dining spot at Nanasawasou was closed.

For dinner, we stopped by a yakitori place we stumbled upon by chance.

I can’t remember the name of the place, but it was a total jackpot!

The grilling was perfect, with the savory aroma and flavor of the charcoal deeply infused. The moment you take a bite, a wave of happiness fills your senses.

In the end, it was a perfect day, with relaxation at Nanasawa Onsen and a delicious yakitori dinner to top it off. Total satisfaction!

The journey continues... Wishing you all a wonderful trip! – TabiJun
