Hello, fellow travel lovers!
This time, it's a report on Tsurutsuru Onsen.
Thanks to an early start this time, we arrived at the onsen ahead of the crowds and managed to avoid the big rush.
However, by the time we were leaving, there was a huge line! With the sunny holiday weekend, it seems everyone had the same idea (haha)!
The catchphrase is 'Eternal Youth.' Just visiting this onsen will make you feel young and rejuvenated!
After hiking, there's no place like this!
After finishing the Mount Mitake hike, we headed straight to Tsurutsuru Onsen. And let me tell you, it was the best decision!
As expected, it was packed!
The sight of crowds of hikers pouring off the shuttle bus and heading straight into the onsen—it’s like a tourist attraction in itself! (Haha)
The sauna and cold bath? It's basically a puzzle game at this point!
The sauna can barely fit six people! Any more, and it’s practically standing room only!
And the cold bath? It’s completely full with just three people!
Everyone squeezes in with a spirit of compromise, yet still manages to enjoy their relaxing time!
Is the washing area by reservation too?!
Even though there are plenty of washing stations, there’s still a wait—talk about crowded! I started imagining the old tradition of having someone wash your back making a comeback here! (Haha)
But the power of the onsen is absolutely incredible!

There's just something amazing about hot springs! No matter how crowded it gets, you can still feel the exhaustion melting away.
True to its name, Tsurutsuru Onsen makes your skin silky smooth as soon as you soak in the water.
Even your legs and back, strengthened from hiking, instantly relax.
To all you onsen lovers out there, be prepared for the 'queue training' on sunny holiday weekends—give it a try!
But there’s no better place to relieve your fatigue. This is what makes onsen truly special!
The journey continues... Wishing you all a wonderful trip! – TabiJun
