Fresh Vegetables and a Flaky Croissant: My Favorite Breakfast Set

The first thing that impressed me was how fresh the salad was.
The vegetables were crisp and crunchy, and the dressing was delicious too.
With this quality and generous portion for under 1,000 yen, it is excellent value for money.
This is one of my favorite breakfast spots, and I always want to bring my friends here.
Touched by the Owner’s Warm Hospitality
During our visit, my friend became completely absorbed in watching the coffee being brewed with a siphon.
Actually, “watching” may be too gentle a word—she was practically staring at it!
The owner noticed her interest and kindly said,
“Please come closer!”
He then invited us behind the counter for a better look.

We learned that the heating equipment used for the siphon coffee had been specially custom-made for the café.
My friend and I were both thrilled to hear such an interesting story directly from the owner.
Unfortunately, I did not manage to take a photo while the coffee was being brewed, but being able to see the process up close became a wonderful memory.
A Generous Coffee Served in Two Cups
Once our breakfast was ready, we returned to our table to eat.
At Popurakan Coffee, each serving of coffee is presented in two cups—one large and one small.

Because the serving is so generous, you can enjoy the coffee in different ways.
This time, I chose the coffee included with the breakfast set. However, another fun option is to order different coffees individually and share them with a friend for a little tasting session.
Coffee lovers may find themselves staying much longer than planned.
Taking Home Some Popurakan Blend Coffee
After enjoying the delicious breakfast and the owner’s warm hospitality, both my heart and stomach were completely satisfied.
I wanted to continue enjoying the café experience at home, so I bought 200 grams of Popurakan Blend coffee beans as a souvenir.

It is always lovely to be able to enjoy the same coffee you tasted during your trip after returning home.
Then we headed to our next destination, the Kanagawa Prefectural Disaster Prevention Center.
Combining breakfast at Popurakan Coffee with a visit to the center makes a nice day-trip itinerary in Atsugi.
